Belgian visitors

The PalaeoChron team had the visit this week of Gregory Abrams (left) and Kevin di Modica (below) from the Scladina Cave Museum (Belgium).

They gave a very interesting talk about their research on the late Middle Palaeolithic in Belgium for the Martin Aitken Seminar series.

They also brought with them Neanderthal specimens from Engis and Spy. These will be dated using our compound specific dating approach.

We hope to present the results at the next ESHE conference organised in Belgium next September.
