Congratulations Alex!

The PalaeoChron team sends it very best wishes and congratulations to Alex, who is submitting his MSc dissertation today. The dissertation is titled "El Castillo – Utilising ZooMS (Zooarchaeology by Mass Spectrometry) to Investigate the Transitional Aurignacian in North-Western Spain". It uses ZooMS to analyse and identify animal bone from the key Transitional Aurignacian sections of the El Castillo site to genus/taxon.

The research was undertaken in Oxford and Manchester with PalaeoChron team members including Mike Buckley and Tom Higham, and with the collaboration of Spanish colleagues Federico Bernaldo de Quiros and Roberto Ortañon.
