Adam Powell visit

PalaeoChron welcomed Adam Powell from the new Max Planck Institute at Jena (Germany) for a 3 day visit to discuss joint work and research. Adam gave two very interesting lectures and we had several useful meetings over the week, including with graduate students.

Adam is interested in looking at human genetic and cultural evolutionary systems using multi-data models that derive data from a range of different disciplines including archaeology and genetics. He is a group leader in the Jena MPI.
