South of France

Back to the south of France this week for Tom and Thibaut, along with our colleague Viviane Slon of the Max Planck Institute.

We started off in Narbonne (left) and sampled from the Museum and then moved on to a nearby site and finally to Tautavel where we continued our previous work on sites from the south of France and specifically the Mousterian.

On our way back there was a bomb scare at Toulouse airport and we had to wait while a controlled explosion was performed. Apart from that, an uneventful trip all in all...
