New logo designed

In June, we thought that the project required an easily recognized logo to accompany presentations, publications and, of course, the website.

We drew a series of alternatives but, in the end, the "logo team", consisting of Tom Higham, Eftychia Mastora (our design specialist) and myself (KD) agreed to go with the current version of the logo, as it appears on the top of this website.

It depicts a prehistoric hunter-gatherer holding his spear and standing in front of the mouth of a cave, the outline of which forms the map of the Eurasian continent. The acronym of the project, as well as the words 14C and OSL, intersect the man's body.

We think it's fun and describes best what we're doing! We hope you like it too!
